What is COLLABZONE?
CollabZone is AztlanLab’s open development program — a space where developers, artists, designers, and storytellers come together to build creative projects under a shared vision.
Our goal is to create high-quality, independent games powered by passion, collaboration, and fair revenue sharing.
Here, every contribution matters. Whether you code, design, write, or compose — CollabZone is where your skills help shape worlds.

How does it work?
1. Join an Open Project:
Browse active projects in development and choose one that matches your skills or interests.
2. Collaborate Remotely:
You’ll join a small, motivated team working through shared tools and milestones defined by AztlanLab.
3. Build, Test, Launch:
Once the project reaches a playable or publishable state, AztlanLab manages distribution, marketing, and publishing logistics.
4. Revenue Sharing:
After launch, any profit generated (ads, sales, licensing, etc.) is distributed among all verified contributors after taxes and platform fees, based on their level of involvement and contribution category.

Work & Resource Distribution
To ensure fairness and clarity:
- Each open project has defined roles and task lists for developers, designers, artists, and writers.
- Work is managed through a shared Trello / Notion / GitHub workspace (depending on the project type).
- All resources (art assets, code repositories, sound libraries, etc.) are stored in a central cloud folder managed by AztlanLab.
- Contributors are expected to respect copyrights, licensing, and creative standards.
Revenue Distribution
Once a project generates revenue, net profit will be distributed as follows:
-
Platform & Tax Deductions – App stores, publishing platforms, or government fees.
-
AztlanLab Reserve (10–20%) – For hosting, marketing, and project management.
-
Contributor Shares (Remaining %) – Divided among verified contributors according to role and workload:
-
A transparent revenue report will be shared with all collaborators after each payment cycle.

FAQ's

We use task-based progress tracking (via Trello, Notion, or GitHub) to document every member’s contribution.
You’ll still receive a partial share proportional to your verified contribution before leaving.
AztlanLab retains publishing rights, but all collaborators are credited and have a share of the profits. You also keep authorship over your original assets (art, music, code, etc.).
